Make the introduction. Keep the attribution.
Brokers, sourcing agents, consultants and introducers make cross-border trade possible — and are usually the first party a platform designs out. Novium treats the relationship you created as a record worth protecting.
- Introducer
- Moshi Agri Exports (sourcing agent)
- Introduced
- Naivasha Fresh Produce Ltd → Delta Fresh Import B.V.
- Scope
- Avocado — Hass, class I
- Territory
- Netherlands, Belgium, Germany
- Protection period
- 12 months from acknowledgement

Protection with defined edges
Attribution on the relationship
The introducer is recorded against the relationship itself, not buried in a message thread that can be abandoned.
Explicit scope
Commodity, opportunity and territory are recorded, so protection covers what was actually introduced.
Acknowledged protection period
Both parties acknowledge the protection period and commercial basis before contact details are released.
Survives the deal
Closing a deal marks the relationship established. It does not erase who created it.
Circumvention signals
Attempts to move contact details off-platform during a protected period are flagged for review.
Direct trade still works
Where no intermediary introduced the parties, the relationship is simply direct. Nobody is inserted artificially.
Both sides always know where they stand
- Direct
- The parties found each other on the platform. No introducer recorded.
- Introduced
- An intermediary created the relationship and is recorded on it.
- Protected
- Scope, territory and protection period are active and acknowledged.
- Awaiting acknowledgement
- Protection terms are recorded but not yet acknowledged by both sides.
- Expired
- The protection period has lapsed. Attribution history remains visible.
Novium records and displays these terms; it does not act as a party to them or collect commission on your behalf.
